Update

Okay, so I haven't updated lately about our situation. Well, I went to the doctor on Friday, September 19th because I was having some spotting. I was very concerned and thought for sure this was the end. I went to the hospital for blood work the next morning and then to see Dr. Dunn for an ultrasound. She is an AMAZING doctor. My hCG results were GREAT! They were 100,000 which is really good. So she did an ultrasound and we saw the following picture.

As you can see the baby is MUCH bigger than it was two weeks ago! I was so excited to see this picture. We were able to see the heartbeat and everything! Everything seems to be going REALLY well this time. I think I am actually starting to get excited a little...then again I don't want to get too excited and be let down again.

We were also able to determine that I was indeed pregnant with twins, but there wasn't a baby in the second sac. We are okay with that. I always said I didn't want to be greedy and ask for a bunch of kids....I just wanted one. So, we are praying that we will be able to have our little McKim and that he or she will be a healthy little one. Here is the picture of sac number two. Dr. Dunn did say that this was actually very common.

So, we are going to see the high risk ob Dr. Petriantoni on Wednesday, October 1st. Dr. Dunn said they would do another ultrasound and check to see if I have to have the stitch put in which more than likely will have to happen so I don't go into pre-term labor.

For now we are praying and praying that this little one will grow and grow to be a healthy little one. Thanks for all of your prayers! We will keep you posted on the lastest news!

I SO needed this today!

“For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.”

Psalm 91:11 (NIV)

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for caring for my children even more than I do. Thank You for hearing my prayers, and for protecting my children. Help me to learn to trust You more, and to pray more about even the smallest details of their lives. I want to be a mother who trusts You, the true source of all help. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Jesus prays for me!

Jesus prays for me as well. He intercedes on my behalf. He knows what is set before me and desires that my faith in Him will not fail. He prays that I will have the strength to keep my eyes on Him, never straying too far behind, and that I will stay close to His side.

Jesus is my prayer partner. I am indebted to the Lord for He is at all times working on my behalf. He is my High Priest, mediating between me and God. Because of Jesus, I am made strong when I am weak. Because of Jesus’ faithfulness to me, I have experienced what joy feels like!

Jesus prays for you as well. He understands that Satan wishes to sift you like wheat. Do not despair, Jesus has prayed for you! He desires to wipe the tears from your cheek and replace it with the joy that faithfulness brings. When you feel all alone and like the world has forgotten you, when you feel as if you can continue no longer, do not fret—the Savior is there praying for you! His Father always hears his prayers. They will strengthen you, and then in turn you can help strengthen others.

Dear Lord, sometimes I feel all alone and weary, as if I have no strength left within me. Yet, I will seek You in prayer. I will make my request before You, for I know You are there for me and interceding on my behalf. You know what is before me and what I need. Give me strength when it feels as if Satan is trying to sift me like wheat. Create within my heart faithfulness and steadfastness. Thank You for praying for me, taking my request to the Father so, through You, I may gain strength. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

We spilled the beans!

Well, if you haven't figured it out by the new additions to our page we are expecting. This will be the last time we try regardless of the outcome. Next summer I plan on having a total hysterectomy so we won't have to worry about all the pain and issues any longer. :-)

We debated as to whether or not we should tell anyone yet. We thought we might wait until after the next ultrasound, but we had both sides of our families together tonight for dinner for my birthday so we thought we had the perfect time to spill the beans while everyone was there.
As you can tell from the ultrasound picture the baby is still very small. We had great news at the ultrasound and the doctor's visit and we are praying and hoping for more good news to come. We were able to hear the baby's heartbeat via ultrasound and it was 114bpm which is good for being 6w2d. All of my levels are in the good/normal range and we are praying that the medicine will continue to work and they will stay there. We are doing all we can and the rest is up to God. All we can do is pray and wait patiently for our next ultrasound which is on Monday, September 22 (the day before our 3 year wedding anniversary so we are praying for GREAT news that day).
If we do receive good news that day then I will spill the beans to my boss. Until then my coworkers will be left out in the cold.

We know that God will make sure it all works out how it is supposed to...I just pray that His plans are the same as ours!

Keep us and this little McKim in your prayers! We will keep you posted on all the latest news!

Much love,

Camryn

We had our niece Camryn this past Saturday. The evening was a bit hectic because she wasn't a happy camper...she was rather tired. But when she finally woke up we had a lot of fun! :-)

Me telling Camryn to say CHEESE!

Hope

But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
