I must admit that I have a great time with my girls one Friday a month for GNO (Girl's Night Out).  This past month we went to the Cheese Cake Factory for dinner and then walked around the Mall St. Matthews.  We ended up the store Forever 21 and they had a photo booth where we took our pictures!
We had a BLAST!  Christi brought her daughter Stella with her and I think poor Stella was mortified by what we were doing.  Oh the fun we had!  =)

Hello 2013!

January is always a time for changes and resolutions.  I decided that I was going to set goals instead of make resolutions.  I am not a big fan of resolutions because most everyone says they are going to go to the gym and lose weight and one week later they are back where they started.  My number one goal was to spend more time with my husband and my family.  I have done okay with this goal mainly because I decided to take a class to renew my teaching license and it was an intense intensive course!  Am I glad that is over!  Here are some snippets of family fun from January!

December was a BUSY month!

December is always busy for us, but this year it seemed extra busy!  We went and cut down our Christmas tree (tradition), had Skyla's 16th birthday (can you believe it?!), our new friend Bella the Elf came to live with us, went and looked at Christmas lights, played in the snow, celebrated Jesus' birthday with our families, rang in the New Year (yes we were all awake), and were blessed beyond belief!

Not a lot!  I think the only thing that happened (besides Thanksgiving) was lots of McKim family silliness!  I have proof!  Just look below and see!
