So I finally went and bought some clothes for me (yes, it was a task since I don't enjoy spending money on myself). And I found that I'm in the same pants size BUT I am way more flabby than I would like to be. I feel like my a$$ is hanging down to my knees and my belly just jiggles and jiggles all over. SO tomorrow I am starting on my new journey to do something about it. I have decided that my end goal is to run in Fast Freddy's Five on Thanksgiving day. I will be watching what I'm eating (and paying attention versus just shoving it in my mouth) and working out 6 days a week. I can do this because I have set my mind to do so. Any help, support, and encouragement you can give me along the way is GREATLY appreciated! I will not be weighing myself every week, but I will be keeping track of my measurements and seeing how my clothes fit. To me that's the most important thing. The number on the scale can stay at 155 for all I care, but I don't want to be flabby anymore! Besides, muscle weighs more than fat, right? =)
No more looking like this and being embarrassed by how I look in pictures with my family.

CRAZY Storm
At some point over the summer we had a CRAZY storm. It turned the sky orange-red and I felt like we were on Mars. It was crazy-strange-cool!
Warrior Dash
The end of June I competed in a race. This was not just any race, but a race where you have to crawl under barbed wire, climb 15 foot tall walls, run/swim through mud, and jump over fire. It was A LOT of fun! AND I completed the race! I wasn't the fastest, but I wasn't the slowest either. It would have been nice if I had actually trained for the race, but I didn't and out of the 10 obstacles I only passed on 1 because I am afraid of heights. I competed in this race with three of the ladies that I work with. We had a blast!
